Carbon Nanocellulose
Carbon nanocellulose, as a type of fibrous nanomaterial, features a high aspect ratio, low density, and high rigidity. Utilizing it as a coating material for battery separators can provide support to the base material, effectively improving the thermal shrinkage performance and rupture temperature of the battery separator under high-temperature conditions, while also enhancing the wettability of the electrolyte.
High Solid Content: The CNC aqueous solution is 16 wt%, four times that of commercial products.
Good Chemical Compatibility: Compared to competitors, the surface is uncharged.
Strong Hydrophobicity: CNC Hydrophobic Modification; Low Water Content in Lithium Battery Separators.
Lightweight and Thin: The CNC ceramic coating is as thin as 1 µm, requiring less coating material, which contributes to a higher energy density in batteries.
Good Heat Resistance: 180°C/h, thermal shrinkage rate <2%.
